Julia Walpole was born and raised in coastal, Charleston, South Carolina and spent her formative years living on the family farm. Julia is inspired by the stories echoed in the history of her city. She believes there is a unique perspective held by those raised in our Eastern American communities-- one sensitive to family, legacy, and humanity. Julia enjoys creating authentic female driven narratives, and as a lifelong athlete, especially loves stories related to the athletic art forms: cheer, dance and gymnastics. Julia received her BFA in film production with an emphasis in producing and a minor in arts entrepreneurship at UNC School of the Arts.
During her senior year, Julia received the UNCSA Artprenuer award and used the grant proceeds to found Quiet Frame LLC where she is the creative producer. Quiet Frame is a production company who's mission is two fold; to uplift local businesses by creating artful video advertising assets, and to create above-the-line narrative film development opportunities on the East Coast. Julia is an award winning producer; her films have won several awards at festivals and competitions. Her work has most recently been showcased at the River Run Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, and Cucalorus Film Festival.
